Café-au-lait macule.

What are its clinical features?

The café-au-lait macule presents as a flat light brown patch. It is a type of congenital melanocytic naevus.
Multiple café-au-lait macules may be associated with neurofibromatosis type 1 and other familial neurocutaneous syndromes, reflecting the melanocyte's origin in the neural crest.
