What kind of psoriasis does this patient have?
Generalised pustular psoriasis or subcorneal pustulosis
What are the features?
Generalised pustular psoriasis is characterised by superficial pustules. The patient with von Zombusch pustular psoriasis presents acutely, very unwell, with fever and malaise. Predominantly flexural, cyclical and annular pustular psoriasis, known as subcorneal pustular dermatosis or Sneddon-Wilkinson disease, is associated with paraproteinaemia. Acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is a drug eruption related to pustular psoriasis. Focal pustules may also appear with chronic plaques that have been irritated, for example by dithranol.
