Discoid eczema
Describe its characteristics
Discoid eczema may be dry, fissured and not particularly itchy, or exudative and intensely itchy. The first lesion may start anywhere, but the lower leg is the most common site. The edge is well demarcated. The first lesion often starts where there is a break in the skin, e.g., insect bite, thermal burn, scratch.
