What are these skin lesions?
Labial melanotic macule, also known as labial melanosis.
What are the clinical features of this disorder?
Mucosal melanotic macules or mucosal melanosis affects the lips, labia minora or penis. They present as solitary or multiple, flat brown, blue or black lentigos with even or irregular margins. They may appear spontaneously or follow an inflammatory skin condition. They persist unchanged. Biopsy is appropriate if there are any atypical clinical features.
