Psoriasis has common and uncommon presentations, with varying distribution and local features. A patient may have more than one type of psoriasis at the same or different times. The main characteristics of psoriatic lesions are symmetrical distribution, well-demarcated morphology, scaling and persisten ce.

What are the features?
Although flexural psoriasis tends to be nonscaly, psoriasis between the toes tends to scale or peel, as illustrated by the patient whose athlete's foot failed to respond to antifungal agents. Scrapings were negative for fungal microscopy and culture.
