Angiofibromas
What features distinguish this condition?
Angiofibromas are pink or red papules, characteristically arising across the cheeks and nose of patients with tuberous sclerosis. They appear between the age of 3 and 10 years, and increase in size and number until adolescence. They are unsightly and may bleed; treatment with diathermy or laser may improve the appearance but often needs to be repeated.
