What are these skin lesions?
Multiple atypical melanocytic naevi
What are the clinical features of this disorder?
Atypical naevi are undefined, but the term refers to unusual moles: large, numerous or funny-looking. Dysplastic naevi are atypical naevi with defined clinical or histological characteristics. They tend to be large and flat, but they may have a central papular component, ('fried egg' appearance). They may be sporadic or part of a familial melanoma syndrome. Such patients present with numerous atypical naevi.
