Apocrine hidrocystoma
Describe the disorder
Apocrine hidrocystoma is most often located on the lower eyelid, especially in the inner canthu, but they may occur elsewhere on head, neck and trunk. A hidrocystoma presents as a slowly growing or persistent, asymptomatic, soft, translucent, skin-coloured to bluish papule. They may recur after incision and drainage, but gentle diathermy will prevent this.
