Blushing
How would you treat it?
Blushing or flushing frequently affects the neck as well as face and chest. Blushing is a physiological response, in which vasodilation arises because of anxiety or embarrassment. It may be exaggerated with some neurological diseases. In some individuals, alcohol, food additives, eating, medications, or tumours secreting vasoactive chemical mediators induce flushing.
If treatment is required, consider clonidine.
